Purpose

The main purpose of the position is to coordinate the Supply Chain Management function for the Agency and ensure it is line with policy and legislation.

Required Minimum Education and Training

Minimum educational and experience requirements: A relevant NQF 7 qualification

Required Minimum Work Experience

3 – 5 years’ experience in a senior administrative Supply Chain Management environment / function.

Responsibilities & Performance Areas

Key Responsibilities & Performance Areas: Contract management and maintenance Insurance administration for construction tenders Preparation of service level agreements / contracts • Formal tenders Supplier performance • Document management Secretariat function at bid adjudication committees (BAC) Deviation and variation orders and registers Bid specification committee Chairperson Reports SCM policy workshops Record keeping Develop and maintain stakeholder / customer relationships Support team effectiveness Please note the following: 1.
