The purpose of this position is to oversee and lead the Operations Department in driving long term programme planning, project preparation and project implementation as per MBDA mandate(s). The position is also responsible for Urban Area / Total Precinct Management and Facilities Management.
Required Minimum Education and Training
• NQF 7 Qualification in Town Planning.
• NQF8+ in other Built Environment & Project Management fields will be an added advantage.
Required Minimum Work Experience
• Minimum of 5 years Senior Management in Planning and Strategic Catalytic Projects
environment.
Responsibilities & Performance Areas
• Strategic and Operational planning and implementation of programmes
• Develop and implement sound financial processes in project management
• Develop and maintain stakeholder / customer relationships
• Drive all compliance reporting across areas of responsibility
• Lead Operations Management – Project full life-cycle planning
• Drive initiatives to source funding with regards to catalytic projects
• Lead and Coordinate Project Planning and Preparation
• Lead and Coordinate Project Implementation
• Oversee Facilities Management including Operations and Maintenance
• Leand and Management reports
