The main purpose of this position is to organise and administer all in-house programmes for the Nelson Mandela Bay Science & Technology Centre in Kariega.
Required Minimum Education and Training
Three-year diploma in Sciences
Driver's licence essential

2 years' experience working with learners
Responsibilities & Performance Areas
Plan and coordinate all Science Centre programmes and projects
Prepare annual plan for approval by the Science and Technology Centre Manager
Design and develop programmes for centre
Obtain quotes and authorization
Ensure programmes are aligned to relevant curriculum to support learners and create an awareness and excitement around science
Coordinate volunteers to execute the planned programmes
Plan, coordinate and implement career guidance programmes for schools at the Centre
Draft proposals for funding of initiatives
Provide admin support for all programmes
Update social media as required
Develop and maintain stakeholder and customer relationships
Collaborate with other business units / teams to ensure a consistent approach with regards to query resolution and approach
