Following the Singaphi environmental upgrade, the TC Magqabi swimming pool development, and the New Brighton Jazz Festival, the MBDA is seeking to create a broader cultural precinct within New Brighton. Several key intervention projects have been, or are being, identified within the area. These focus on culture, heritage, tourism, psychosocial, economic development, and job creation. There is also a special focus on the youth.

This survey would like to get your opinions about the New Brighton area – how you feel about the area, what opportunities there are for development, what needs to be improved or fixed, and which new projects could be introduced into the area. The responses you give will help to inform the MBDA’s current and future activities in the New Brighton area.
